When the Game Became a Dream
Four chapters about a childhood, a handheld Game & Watch, and the moment play became a dream. The original Slovak artwork is preserved; each English image edition contains an additional translated reading panel underneath.
“Imagination knows no bounds of time or space.”
These are four illustrated variations of one remembered feeling, not a literal reconstruction of events. Each image is a door to a different layer of the dream.

“My childhood...”
“...was full of little wonders.”
“Dreams...”
“Imagination knows no bounds of time or space.”
“And the game opened up like a dream.”

“That night, I was no longer just a player.”
“I was part of the game.”
“Every jump was a step into the dream.”
“And every vine was a path farther on.”
“The game took me where dreams have no limits.”

“Imagination knew no limits.”
“Not time.”
“Not space.”
“Everything was possible.”
“And dreams could fly farther than words.”

“Morning came quietly.”
“But the dream did not fade.”
“It stayed within me.”
“In my memories.”
“In games.”
“In a childhood that is still alive.”
“And some dreams never end.”
