- Limits of perception: our senses and minds never capture everything.
- Too much light: overwhelming brilliance can obscure rather than reveal.
- Habit and dogma: inherited certainties may narrow the view.
- Passion and ignorance: emotions and unexamined assumptions can conceal knowledge.
- Arrogance, fear and false goals: certainty, anxiety and distraction can block understanding.
- Mystical absorption: seeking the absolute can disconnect us from ordinary life.
- The final image: clearer perception, not certainty that every secret has been solved.
